The Dubai Dialogue, hosted by Al Noor CRID with EnAble India, marked the first Purple Economy Dialogue outside India. It was a compact but powerful curtain-raiser that introduced the movement to a UAE audience through lived experience, assistive innovation, startup showcases, sector conversations and a pledging moment.
The session opened with the Al Noor Accessible Music Team, demonstrating how low-tech and high-tech tools can make performance accessible from switch-access and hands-free setups to custom mounts and vibro-acoustic elements. This immediately positioned inclusion as design craft, not charity.
Neeraj framed the Purple Economy through concrete proof points Purple Rides, accessible retail, Union Bank’s work, Goa’s industrial vision and the global market opportunity. The dialogue connected strongly with the UAE context: People of Determination policies, digital government, tourism, innovation, capital and private-sector readiness.
