EnAble India

Powering the Purple Economy through 25 Years of Inclusive Action

Long before the term Purple Economy was coined, EnAble India was laying its foundation—brick by brick, breakthrough by breakthrough. With over 25 years of transformative work in the disability sector, EnAble India has been at the forefront of changing mindsets, building ecosystems, and unlocking livelihoods for persons with disabilities (PwDs) across the country.

At the heart of our work lies a simple, yet powerful belief: inclusion is not a favour—it’s a force for economic growth.

Our Impact in Numbers

  • 325,000+ lives impacted, including persons with disabilities and their families
  • 70–80% of PwDs trained by us now support their families
  • Presence in 1050+ locations across 28 states

From Livelihoods to a Larger Vision

With this extensive on-ground experience, EnAble India is now spearheading the Purple Economy Movement—a bold, systemic shift to reframe inclusion as a driver of innovation, employment, and economic transformation. The movement takes the learnings of 25 years and scales them across industries, sectors, and geographies—ensuring that disability is no longer seen as limitation, but a catalyst for growth.

Inclusion isn’t the end goal. It’s the starting point of a thriving, equitable economy.
